Erasmus+ Staff Training Mobility: for Academic and Administrative Staff

Train Abroad with Erasmus+

Erasmus+ Key Action 1 – Learning Mobility of Individuals offers CEU staff the chance to spend time training at a partner university, enterprise, or other relevant workplace abroad. These opportunities are designed to help you grow professionally, gain new skills, and experience fresh approaches to work in a dynamic, international setting.

Training mobility can take many forms — from workshops and seminars to job shadowing or structured courses. The aim is to strengthen your expertise, support your personal and professional development, and bring new ideas and practices back to CEU.

By stepping into another workplace, you’ll gain new perspectives, deepen international connections, and return better equipped to contribute to our community. Beyond practical skills, mobility experiences also build cultural awareness, adaptability, and confidence in working across diverse environments.

Funding is available to help cover travel and living costs, and CEU staff continue to receive their salary while participating in the program. While the Erasmus+ grant is a contribution and may not cover all costs, units may provide additional support.

Applications are open. Visit our Erasmus+ page for details on partner institutions, eligibility, and how to apply.
