OSUN CEU Global Teaching Fellowship Program at the Brac University (BracU), Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Call for applications for Spring 2024 term (January – May 2024) or Spring and Summer 2024 terms  (January- June 2024) or Spring, Summer and Fall 2024 terms (January-December 2024).

The Brac University (BracU) invites applications for Global Teaching Fellowships to teach at BracU, Dhaka, Bangladesh, for Spring 2024 term (January – May 2024) or Spring, Summer and Fall 2024 terms (January-December 2024). The successful applicant will teach introductory and advanced courses in the field(s) of Social Sciences, Business Sciences, Philosophy, Psychology, Anthropology and Sociology (expertise in the Global South), and Environment and Humanities, Comparative Literature, Human Rights, Legal Studies, Political Science, Social Entrepreneurship, and expertise teaching and learning with an opportunity of an additional course in Research Methodology.

Eligible applicants include Ph.D. graduates who received their Ph.D. degree from the CEU or am OSUN or CIVICA member institution within the last two years and advanced (e.g. ABD all but dissertation) Ph.D. candidates.

The successful candidates will teach up to two courses (see fields above, one course in one of the Fields and one course in Research Methodology), which will be set by the Institute or Department of BracU, in agreement with the Fellow. The Fellow will also have the possibility to offer one course on his/her special area of expertise, in coordination with the department. The language of instruction is English. Candidates should discuss the Syllabus of their specialized course with their supervisor and the department at BracU in advance.

Successful candidates will receive an honorarium from CEU and additionally, a one-time travel expense (location-Dhaka-location) will be funded.
