Call for Application - ELTE Faculty of Social Sciences
Within the framework of GTFP, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary invites applications for the position of GTFP Fellow for the upcoming academic semester.
The position requires teaching one or two courses on undergraduate level in English, in accordance with GTFP regulations. Please read GTFP Guidelines carefully.
ELTE (https://www.elte.hu/en/) does not list or specify the courses that are available for teaching but welcomes Fellows to teach various subjects. ELTE allows flexibility and the syllabi may be adjusted to the expertise of the selected GTFP Fellow. Based on a comprehensive cooperation agreement between CEU and ELTE, all faculties, schools, and departments can be approached.
CEU already has closer cooperation and very positive first-hand experience (mutually rewarding fellowships in the past semesters) with the Faculty of Social Sciences (ELTE TÁTK), the Faculty of Humanities (ELTE BTK) and the Faculty of Education and Psychology (ELTE PPK).
At the Faculty of Social Sciences, GTFP Fellows are expected to teach courses in the broad field of international relations. Questions regarding academic issues can be addressed directly to Dr. Ákos Kopper, Head of European studies Department of ELTE TÁTK at firstname.lastname@example.org

The call is open to current CEU doctoral candidates beyond their 3rd year of studies and recent doctoral graduates who earned received the PhD-degree in a relevant field of study in the last two academic years. GTFP’s rules and regulations apply.
CEU supports GTFP Fellows teaching at state-funded universities in Hungary with a grant. Please note that in Hungary GTFP does not cover accommodation and health insurance costs, as Fellows are expected to reside in Hungary.

- motivation letter
- resume (CV)
- teaching philosophy (1,000 words)
- list of the desired course(s)
- two Letters of Reference (email or scanned copy)

From the academic year 2017/18 the remuneration for teaching two courses at a Hungarian HE institution and continuous PhD research is comparable to CEU's Doctoral Stipends.
