Call for Application - ELTE

Within the framework of GTFP, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) in Budapest, Hungary invites applications for the position of GTFP Fellow for the upcoming academic semester.

The position requires teaching one or two courses on undergraduate level in English, in accordance with GTFP regulations. Please read GTFP Guidelines carefully.

ELTE ( does not list or specify the courses that are available for teaching but welcomes Fellows to teach various subjects. ELTE allows flexibility and the syllabi may be adjusted to the expertise of the selected GTFP Fellow. Based on a comprehensive cooperation agreement between CEU and ELTE, all faculties, schools, and departments can be approached.

Fellows have thaught already at the Faculty of Social Sciences (ELTE TÁTK), the Faculty of Humanities (ELTE BTK) and the Faculty of Education and Psychology (ELTE PPK).

The call is open to current CEU doctoral candidates beyond their 3rd year of studies and recent doctoral graduates who earned received the PhD-degree in a relevant field of study in the last two academic years. GTFP’s rules and regulations apply.

CEU supports GTFP Fellows teaching at state-funded universities in Hungary with a grant. The remuneration for teaching two courses at a Hungarian HE institution and continuous PhD research is comparable to CEU's Doctoral Stipends.
