Call for Applications - UBB Political Science

Babes-Bolyai University Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences (FSPAC) in partnership with STAR-UBB Institute in Romania invites applications for the Fall 2019 semester, (with a possibility for extension to the Spring semester) for the position of Visiting Teaching Fellow.

The position will entail teaching 2-4 hours of seminar classes in the case of PhD students, and 2-4 hours of course classes for doctoral graduates, on undergraduate level in English. Applicants have the choice among currently offered courses in English, the syllabi to be adjusted to the expertise of the selected Fellow.

Please see the full list of courses in attachment below, which include introductory and advanced courses in the fields of political science, international relations, gender studies, human rights, public policy, and economics.

The call is open to CEU doctoral candidates beyond their 3rd year of studies, and doctoral graduates who have earned a PhD from CEU no earlier than 2017.

The successful candidate will be offered free accommodation and a fellowship grant from UBB, with a contribution from CEU covering living costs while in Cluj-Napoca.
